Democrats Abroad is a group of our American friends who support the Democratic party and their chairperson, Meredith Wheeler, is a long-time supporter of Taglines too. Yesterday the group held their 4th July party a couple of days early in the Tarn village of Lautrec, with a noticeably anti-Trump theme. The dessert was "peche-menthe" (Im-peachment -get it?). Now Taglines, as readers know, is apolitical (except anti-Brexit, pro-refugee, anti-fascist etc), but it is nice to know that there are Americans of taste and good sense in our midst.
