In the true spirit of sport, Sebastien Destremau finished the round the world yacht race seven weeks behind the winner. The Vendee Globe is the premier single-handed non-stop circumnavigation race and was won by Armel Le Cleach who crossed the line on 19th January. Of the 28 starters eleven retired , but Destremau never considered giving up and 124 days after setting out he landed at Sables d'Olonne this morning.
