Nous sommes le jeudi neuf fevrier

Frost on the buckets this morning, but at least it is not raining and we have a watery blue sky.
Another busy day for me sorting out items donated from a house clearance. What will go to whom to furnish apartments, what can be sold to go into the refugee fund and some things from an earlier trip to go to charity shops.
A busy life stops me thinking about the problems the world is facing and last night hearing of the overlooking of the Dubs agreement yesterday. This means youngsters at Realville now have no chance of getting legally to parents and guardians in the UK. I fear for their young lives and what they will do.
I can do nothing but protest and at the moment our inbox is filled with petitions for this that and the other!
Malc is a bit low as the smashed car, although we have it back with pristine bodywork, still  does not work and now needs to go for a mechanical repair into a Mercedes garage.
Onward and upward.
